Big Writing Talk Topics

Every Thursday we will give your child a note to say what the 'Talk Topic' is for our Big Writing session on Friday. Please could you spend a little time asking your child what they can tell you about the topic? This will be a great help when they come to do their writing.

Information for Parents Please ensure that your child brings his/her book-bag to school every day, so that books can be read and changed regularly. Please label every item in your child's PE kit and keep the kit in school. We do not have room to store wellies in school but would like to ask children to bring them in, when needed, for outdoor learning activities.  All children are encouraged to bring in a labelled water bottle to keep in the classroom. Children can refill them in school and bring them home to wash at weekends.

Children will be encouraged to know by heart the spelling of the ‘words of the week’ that have been covered:- new, little, more, took, very, these.
